My journey started with cakes,
Back then, I was just a girl registering with council so I could bake cakes in my rural town of barely 14,000. Cas’ Cakery grew its wings from a local bakery to a hub for other bakers to gain inspiration, tools, and teaching to transform their own businesses.
But in building the business of my dreams, I realised that what we lack in society is community and connection with women.
Now through my cakes, class experiences, and events, I empower women to design beautiful lives built around balance, relationships, and passion.
I’ve always been passionate and driven.
I grew up quickly, making my own path in the big wide world. I found the arms of an incredible man and we married young, had four kids, and lived out west in a jewel of a town.
I didn’t know at the time that Emerald is the stone of intuition, truth, and vision.
While at the time my journey into business felt like quitting jobs, desperation, and frustration, I look back with kindness at the younger version of me.
I was always creative and headstrong.
Always looking for beauty.
Always ready for a transformation, whether I knew it was coming or not!

This transformation in my business and life has brought expansion to Cas’ Cakery, to also include Cas Watene - a space focused on empowering women in their personal growth.
